Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes our policies and procedures regarding information when you use the viveParacuellos mobile application, and explains your privacy rights.

viveParacuellos is a free directory app for the town of Paracuellos de Jarama. It does not require registration or user accounts. We are committed to keeping data collection to an absolute minimum.

Interpretation and Definitions

Interpretation

The words whose initial letters are capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

Definitions

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:

• Application refers to viveParacuellos, the mobile software program provided by the Company.

• Company (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Privacy Policy) refers to viveParacuellos.

• Country refers to: Spain

• Device means any mobile device that can access the Service, such as a smartphone or tablet.

• Local Data refers to data stored exclusively on your Device and never transmitted to any server.

• Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.

• Service refers to the Application.

• Service Provider means any third-party company that processes data on behalf of the Company to facilitate the Service.

• Usage Data refers to data collected automatically by the infrastructure that hosts the Service (for example, server access logs).

• You means the individual accessing or using the Service.

Collecting and Using Your Data

Types of Data Collected

Personal Data

viveParacuellos does not require you to create an account, register, or provide any personal information to use the Service. We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other personal identifiers.

The only way personal information reaches us is if you voluntarily contact us using the in-app contact form. That form opens your device's native mail application — the message is sent directly from your own email client and is not stored or processed by the app itself.

Local Data (stored only on your device)

The following information is stored exclusively on your Device using local storage (AsyncStorage) and is never transmitted to any server:

• Favourite places: the IDs of directory listings you have marked as favourites.
• Language preference: your chosen app language (Spanish or English).

This data exists only on your device. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes it.

Usage Data

When the app fetches directory data, requests are routed through Supabase, our database service provider. Supabase may automatically record standard server access logs, which can include your device's IP address and the timestamp of the request. This logging is performed at the infrastructure level and is not used by us for tracking or profiling purposes.

Use of Your Data

The Company uses the data described above solely for the following purposes:

• To provide the Service: fetching and displaying the Paracuellos de Jarama business directory.
• To respond to your requests: if you contact us by email, we use your message to reply to you.
• For security and troubleshooting: server logs retained by Supabase may be used to detect abuse or resolve technical issues.

Sharing of Your Data

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. The only third party involved in operating this Service is:

• Supabase: our database provider, which hosts the directory data and may retain server access logs as described above. Supabase processes data in accordance with its own privacy policy.

We may also disclose data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g. a court or government agency).

Retention of Your Data

• Local data (favourites, language): stored on your device until you uninstall the app or clear app data.
• Server logs (IP address, access timestamp): retained by Supabase for up to 24 months for security monitoring and troubleshooting, then deleted or anonymised.
• Contact emails: retained only as long as necessary to resolve your enquiry.

Transfer of Your Data

Directory data is hosted on Supabase infrastructure, which may be located outside Spain. Where required by applicable law, appropriate safeguards are applied to ensure your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Delete Your Data

Because the app does not collect personal data directly, there is no account or profile to delete.

• Local data (favourites, language preference) can be deleted at any time by uninstalling the app.
• Contact emails you have sent us can be deleted upon request by writing to hello@lazaro17.com.

Disclosure of Your Data

Law Enforcement

Under certain circumstances, the Company may be required to disclose data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g. a court or a government agency).

Other Legal Requirements

The Company may disclose data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:

• Comply with a legal obligation
• Protect and defend the rights or property of the Company
• Prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service
• Protect the personal safety of Users of the Service or the public

Security

We strive to use commercially reasonable means to protect any data associated with this Service. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

The Service does not address anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 16. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at hello@lazaro17.com and we will take steps to remove that information.

Links to Other Websites

The Service may display links to external websites (e.g. business websites listed in the directory) that are not operated by us. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content or privacy practices of any third-party sites.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date at the top. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
